We Did It!

From the beginning, this campaign has been about the simple idea that strong schools make strong communities. Over the past several months, we have heard from you - the families, students, educators, and business owners across this district - and you share that same belief.

Last night, thousands of you spoke, and I could not be more grateful for your support! I am humbled by the opportunity to serve as your next school board member, and I am excited to continue our work to help chart a path forward that invests in our students, educators and entire communities.

I want to thank my opponent and her team for running a strong campaign. We both offered positive visions for our schools and students, and I look forward to partnering with her to make our schools even stronger.

Our area continues to grow, and with that growth comes both challenges and opportunities for the future of our children. We have to work together if we want to successfully address these challenges - we have to listen to one another, engage with everyone across the political spectrum, and invite the best ideas to strengthen our schools and communities.

Our area is already showing what can happen when neighbors work together to improve our local schools, and it's a model that I believe can help position Cobb County to be a leader in our state and our country when it comes to public education.

Thank you for entrusting me with your vote - I look forward to working with you in the months and years ahead!
